Tommy Tutone Singer Gets Hitched in Tahoe
Maybe "Jenny" wasn't who Tommy Tutone's frontman should have been singing about 26 years ago.
Tommy Heath, the lead singer of the 1980's band Tommy Tutone, wed longtime girlfriend Lisa Scholtz early Monday morning while on vacation in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Heath, who is primarily known for the 1982 hit "867-5309/Jenny," wed at the Chapel of the Bells "on a whim," a wedding guest told PEOPLE. The singer and his bride had been dating for three years.
"It was a small wedding," the guest said. "It was a spur of the moment kind of thing. There were four people there. It was beautiful."
A chapel employee confirmed the nuptials saying, "It was a great little wedding. They were both really nice."
Heath currently resides in Santa Rosa, Calif.
