Last week, our Chicago office hosted enthusiastic accounting students from universities across the Midwest during the 2024 ACHIEVE Summer Leadership Program. 🌟 Over two exciting days, these aspiring professionals engaged in various learning activities, gaining valuable insights into the dynamic world of public accounting. Highlights included immersing themselves in the vibrant culture at Rödl & Partner USA, hearing from our team about their experiences with the CPA exam and working as staff accountants, and networking over meals and a fun game of bowling. A part of our US Business Development team recently sharpened their sales skills during an intensive 2-day Sales Workshop at our headquarters in Nuremberg, Germany. Don't miss out on Ohio's extended sales tax holiday! 📅 Many states typically hold a “sales tax holiday” for one weekend a year.This holiday is usually held close to the beginning of a school year and applies to the sale or purchase of school-related products.Ohio has greatly expanded their holiday to include the sale or purchase of all tangible personal property less than $500 per item, with limited exceptions.The extended holiday period will run from Tuesday, July 30th through Thursday, August 8th.Businesses selling taxable products or services to Ohio customers should take note of the change and make any necessary updates to their sales tax collection procedures.For additional information, go to: https://lnkd.in/gAhnvgFH

Our US team is honored to have attended this year's successful celebration of the 25th Forum Global in Nuremberg, Germany. Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl LL. M. opened the event by warmly welcoming clients and employees from over 50 countries to the 25th Forum Global. He highlighted topics such as digitalization and the current economic situation in Germany and worldwide.
