I've decided to open up a Spoiler Thread for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, since the game is releasing soon (11 Days) and there's a good chance it'll leak around that time.

In fact, has anything of notice pop up?

Not much aside from what's already been said from promotional materials and the Japanese demo. Though some have already begun speculating the direction of the story and how stuff ties together.

Some think that whatever remains of Shido's conspiracy is behind the events of this game.

Wow PV 3 had a lot of things. Might be a bit too spoilery for my taste. Sadly I'm too weak to avoid spoilers by this point.

I'm starting to have theories though.

So heres some info.

Sophia is Aeon(Duh)

Alice is Ann's Childhood Friend. Now as a Evil Former Friend

Sophia is apparently pretty savage in mentality. She thinks they should just murder Alice for making so many people suffer.

I mean, she already has Shiho. I know there's not really a limit on how many friends you're allowed to have as a kid, but that trope gets played up a lot.

Offical interview reveals unlike P5 antagonists there are both good and bad sides to these Jail owners, andthe P5 crew will see they have good sides to go with their bad.

They might also be inversions of the sins they represent. Kamoshida lusted for other things, Alice wants people to lust for her.

This is likely why Zenkichi's adoptive daughter is a Jail Owner and using the App thats at the heart of the new cases.

Zenkicihi was originally going to be a woman and a mother figure, not a man and father figure.

An initial idea was the Phantom Thieves going back in time and being involved in the Warring States period.

Sophia is an AI, she probably see things more logically. Kill the bad guy, end the problem kind of logic. I imagine she's going to learn how to be more human by the end of the game.

Wait, Alice is Ann's friend? I didn't get that when I watched the livestream... Alice knew Ann from reading fashion magazines, no?

Here's Marikos backstory according to Persona General

"During the Sapporo Ice Festival of last year, an ice statue collapsed when Mariko was still mayor, killing a 7 year old girl in the process. A Senator took advantage of the scandal in an attempt to tarnish Mariko's reputation so he can become mayor himself and discussed it with an assistant. In reality, a sponsor used faulty materials for the sculpture. When Mariko attempted to call the police, he threatened that the police would discredit her instead and the other man would become mayor. Mariko eavesdropped the coup attempt and was discredited. In order to take her righteous power back, she used the EMMA application to make the current mayor step down, in which she would absolutely get elected back as mayor using a Jail. She would also force her civil servants to work to their bone for the people and to get her public image back."

Okay, that idea sounds awesome, but how would that even work thematically?

Yeah, I'm glad they didn't go with that warring states idea. I actually think it sounds terrible. It would go against the spirit and tone of the story so far and feel more like doing something wacky for the sake of it as opposed to actually continuing the narrative.

Improving as an author, one video at a time.

It would probably have been a Samurai Warriors or Nioh crossover, knowing Koei Tecmo.

Apparently the Conspiracy was involved with the accident that got Zenkichi's wife killed. The higher ups in the police wanted him to kill his daughter to "leave no witnesses" which is uh yeah.

At least from what i heard on Persona General.

Also Ann apparently did know Alice from Shujin.

While the guy letting out the Emma App is trying to give people a chance to strike back at those who wronged them.

How could Ann know Alice from shujin since Zenkichi had to come and tell the PT that Alice was a senpai from Shujin? Was she sitting on that important piece of info and not telling anyone?
