Scouting Report: The East will be trying to end a three-game losing streak Friday night and was held to 16 points in those three losses. “We feel like we have a good group up front,” Cumba said. “That’s where our depth is. It’s hard to predict how they’re going to use certain players. We’ll have to be on our toes with in-game adjustments.” … The East captains are Dover quarterback/linebacker Ryder Aubin, Londonderry lineman Ty Miles, Exeter linebacker Isaac Beem, Londonderry lineman Andreas Taliadouros and Kennett receiver/linebacker/defensive back Tyler Walcott. … “We gave Walcott our Player of the Week Award for his level of commitment,” Cumba said. “The time he spent traveling to and from practice, the money he raised and the number of offensive and defensive positions he learned.” … Jones is serving as the West’s head coach for the third time. He guided the West to a 44-12 victory in the inaugural game (2012) and was the West’s head coach in 2015, when the East posted a 29-15 victory. … “They might be bigger than us on offense, but we’re pretty athletic on defense,” Jones said. “It’s been a tremendous week. I just hope both teams put on a good offensive show so it’s an entertaining game and makes people want to buy tickets and come back.” … The West captains are Concord offensive line/linebacker Aiden Diachenko,Hanover running back/linebacker/defensive back Jeff Vidou, Bedford tight end/defensive end Kevin Sheridan, Bedford wide receiver/safety Domminic Tagliaferro and Newport running back/tight end/defensive end Kyle Ashley. … In addition to Aubin, Salem’s Nolan Lumley and Portsmouth’s Aidan Thomas could see time at quarterback. Bedford’s Danny Black, Bishop Guertin’s Michael MacDonough and Trinity’s Jack Service are the West quarterbacks. … Cumba said Campbell lineman Evan St. Pierre will not play Friday because of an injury. … Both teams have excellent place-kickers: Pinkerton’s Peyton Harmony for the East, and Keene’s Davis Glodgett for the West. … The East will be the home team.

The Series: The West leads the series 8-3.

Prediction: West 14, East 13.
