Letter from Principal RosenbachDear Centennial Families, June has arrived, and with it, the final countdown to the end of the school year—only five and a half days left! It’s hard to believe we’re already here, but we made it! Watching our 8th graders grow and mature over the past two years has been truly wonderful. We wish them all the best as they embark on the next chapter of their lives and start high school in September. To our 7th graders, we look forward to seeing you back in September and are excited to spend another year with you. Next year promises to be even better! A huge “Thank You” goes out to all the families who have supported these students. We couldn’t have made it through the year without your incredible support. I hope this summer is filled with quality time with family and friends, plenty of rest, relaxation, and fun. Don’t forget to pick up a book or two as well. To all CMS students and families, it has been my pleasure to serve you this year. Respectfully, Josh Rosenbach
Field Day- Parent Permission!Field day is a day of fun and connection for our students here at CMS. This year we will be bringing in a climbing wall, some water games, mini golf, water balloon battleship, and more. In order for your student to be allowed to climb the rock wall, we need a signed permission slip before the day of the event. Your student should be bringing this slip home with them today to be signed and returned to the front office. If they do not have it for any reason, here is a direct link: Field Day Permission Form. It will also be posted on our website. Please return these to the front office as soon as possible, so we know your student has permission to enjoy all the festivities! Permission forms are due into the office by 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 13th.
BZ's Mini DonutsBZ's Mini Donuts will be back this year for Field Day on Thursday. Donuts will be $5 per dozen or $9 for two dozen. Proceeds will be given back to Centennial Middle School ASB. Thank you to our counselor, Mr. Childers, for donating this service and proceeds!!
Materials Turn InReminder!!! All materials need to be returned on Monday, June 10th for 8th graders, and Tuesday, June 11th for 7th graders. If you still have school materials (laptop, power cord, textbooks, library books, etc.) please make sure to pack them in your backpacks and bring them back early next week to keep those fines off your account! To check your students account: Sign in, click on your student and go to "Reports" to see unpaid fines. To pay fines go to "Pay Fine/Fees".
Yearbook UpdateYearbooks are still delayed. Autograph pages have arrived and will be handed out during 6th period on Field Day, June 13th for students to collect signatures. Yearbook sales are closed for this school year. There are a few extra copies we order each year that can be purchased at our field day on June 13th here at the front office. This will be a first come first serve basis until we are out of them.
Student Information Verification!!!Each summer we ask families to confirm student information and emergency contacts through an online process called Student Information Verification. This process helps to ensure we have accurate information for emergencies and helps us confirm enrollments for class sizes and scheduling. This Student Information Verification process will be open through Friday, August 9.
Note: If you are a parent/guardian and a district employee you must make address/phone changes through the Employee Access tab within Skyward/Family Access.
